I am pretty thankful I got away from religion that I was indoctrinated as as a child. Once you realize it isn't true... it is so simple and silly to ever think you believed such falsehoods. and to the very bright (sense the sarcasm) that said atheism stems from a desire to do whatever you want. you are really retarded, it stems from intelligence and not living delusionally. The same reason you dismiss Islam, Judaism, Scientology, Roman Mythology, Thaw, and all other 4200 religions out there (because of course they are wrong, you have the right one! Because you were born in a country where christians are dominant). Being raised with faith is worse than being sexualy abused? Is he serious? There\'s also a flaw in his argument that we should live good lives because when we die, that\'s it. If that\'s it, the opposite is true. If we no longer exist, and there is no heaven or hell, what do we care except in our last few moments? A reality without a God is a reality without any consequences, and one in which people would have even more license to act on their desires. I think more often than not, atheism is motivated by a person\'s desire to do whatever he or she wants and not follow any rules, or a misunderstanding of/bad experience with a particular religion.
