ESV vs NASB vs
Written by Josiah on 2005-05-22 08:59:05ESV is supposed to be very literal. I thought it was closer to NASB than to NIV on that matter.  
 
I\\\'ve been impressed on the literalness of the ESV. There have been a number of times I\\\'ve been reading through and found myself stumped on the meaning of a verse only to look it up in NIV and other translations to get a more clear idea of how some have interpreted that verse. 
 
For the record, open up the Scott Yang Scripturizer plugin--it contains instructions within itself to modify it for any translation available at BibleGateway which includes NASB.
